Promoting partnership to maintain growth

Based on the vision of the UAE leadership to promote cooperation with different countries, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces paid a visit to India and was received by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra  Modi.

This visit is a watershed for the UAE and India as it represents an opportunity to discuss a set of regional and international issues along with global security and strategic matters, notably the challenges relating to the surge of terrorism and religious extremism. In this regards, His Highness the Sheikh and senior Indian officials agreed to coordinate efforts in favour of regional and international peace and stability.

The visit of His Highness to India was not only limited to political issues, It also dealt with economic interests and ended with the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding in the fields of culture, investment, space fight against cybercrime, renewable energy and trade. It was also an opportunity for businessmen and investors from the two countries to add impetus to bilateral relations.
