Every time President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan delivers a speech, he focuses on important developmental plans which are responsible for the astounding progress witnessed in the UAE, along with the political and social stability that the state enjoys and the good understanding between the leadership and citizens. The speech of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, delivered at the swearing-in ceremony of some ministers—as part of the recent partial cabinet reshuffle—included many important directives and connotations. The first of these directives called on all the citizens of the nation to exert more efforts to achieve national goals and targets. On this occasion, His Highness called on the federal government for more contribution for the march of progress and development. This call by the President His Highness reflects an unlimited desire for development, which requires continuous and substantial efforts and reflects His Highness’ understanding that the global march to development should be pursued indefatigably. This progress of world development will surpass all those who are incapable of addressing it. The logic of history does not recognize stagnancy and inaction. Therefore, to maintain an advanced position needs the enormous efforts for achieving it. The second message emanating from the speech is that citizens are the basis and cornerstone of all programs, plans and ambitions. This was reconfirmed by His Highness the President when he referred to the fact that the UAE is striving to achieve more development, progress and prosperity in all fields by means of the dedication of its loyal citizens who are the cornerstone for any national project that serves the nation and the citizens. The leadership in the UAE always relies on the Emirati citizens, trusts them and their capabilities and believes that they are the ones entitled to achieve national development ambitions and safeguard the progress and development which the state has achieved at all levels. Therefore, the state always urges its citizens to hold key positions, and endeavors to provide best facilities that assist them in doing their job. The third message derived from the speech is the full confidence that the President, His Highness reposes in state officials who assume responsibility in all domains. This fact was expressed by the President, His Highness, when he reiterated His Highness’ confidence with the Government of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and The Ruler of Dubai, to move forward towards achieving the goals expressed by the strategy of the Federal Government aimed at achieving more development in all fields. This confidence emanates from the proper appointment of those entrusted with responsibilities in all domains, and the soundness of the national framework under which everybody works. The confidence also comes from the clarity of the goals and programs of the Federal Government and its strategies in all areas, which reflects a clear national outlook for development which satisfies the ambitions and aspirations of the citizens and which is in harmony with the capabilities of the State.
