Whether as a champion of gender equality and climate action, or as one of the most generous donors relative to gross national income, the UAE is recognized by Member States for its progressive values and global partnerships in a region mired by challenges. Next year, as the country celebrates its Golden Jubilee, the UAE is running for a two-year seat at the UN Security Council - a once-in-a-generation opportunity to contribute to international peace and security.
