In the light of the seriousness of the situation after the 2003 war on Iraq,  the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) has organized this Symposium as a strategic initiative to try to determine the best possible ways to deal with the Iraqi situation, and to find avenues for the countries of the Gulf to be involved in a way that would enhance building a peaceful and productive Iraq, integrated into the region.
