We live in an era defined by globalization, one of the most dramatic and unpredictable in history. The concepts of national interest and cultural identity become ever more nuanced and complex. Globalization continues to push societies together. Whilst peaceful coexistence is possible, demagoguery and intolerance continually pull people apart.
During this presentation, Tony Blair explores how a comprehensive strategy could be created to overcome the threats we face. Elements of utmost importance for positive change are: education, security, health, civic society engagement, foreign aid and development policy, gender equality, and the environment. Tony Blair also discusses the importance of decisive leaders and strong international organizations that are dedicated to cooperate and are committed to long-term strategic policy. This policy will turn problems into answers.
