The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research participated in the 10th International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2011) held under the auspices of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

IDEX 2011 was organized by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) in cooperation with the General Headquarters of the UAE Armed Forces,  featuring over 30 national pavilions and involved 900 specialized defense companies from 50 Arab and foreign countries.

The ECSSR  exhibited a select range of its publications, presently numbering 747 titles in both Arabic and English. These publications included both original and translated books written by internationally recognized scholars who are experts in international relations, security and military studies and energy issues. They also included refereed monographs in Arabic and English which examine and analyze various strategic political, economic, and social issues, as well as the most significant regional and global developments. These publications are of great interest to intellectuals, thinkers and researchers specializing in issues affecting the Gulf region, the Middle East and the wider Arab world, and appeal to a wide readership at the global level.
