His Excellency Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, Director General of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, received on Wednesday His Excellency Ali Abdulla Al Ahmed, the UAE Ambassador to the French Republic.

Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al-Nuaimi presented the Center’s plans to support the ambitious development visions adopted by the UAE. He also discussed the importance of future planning in light of rapid advances in technology, and its role in supporting decision making, emphasizing the ECSSR’s commitment to promoting scientific research in the Emirates, in cooperation with other academic and specialized institutions and relevant bodies, as part of its work in the development of strategic plans.

Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al-Nuaimi also confirmed the ECSSR’s interest in developing programs and initiatives beneficial to society, such as scientific, educational and cultural events, and holding specialized seminars and conferences on various public issues that align with the Center’s areas of interest. This would further its work supporting students, scholars and researchers through its diverse publications and library, which contains thousands of books and scientific references.

His Excellency Ambassador Ali Abdullah Al Ahmed praised the ECSSR’s efforts to serve the country and the ambitions of its wise leadership and people. He noted that the Center’s research and scientific studies, which address diverse political, economic and social issues, provide the UAE’s national institutions with clear foresight to support their comprehensive development visions and future plans, so that the country is prepared for the future and potential challenges.

His Excellency Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al-Nuaimi and His Excellency Ambassador Ali Abdullah Al Ahmed also exchanged ideas on ways to strengthen the diplomatic work of the UAE in order to further enhance its achievements in international relations and its soft power, noting the UAE’s positive reputation abroad.
