Akhbar Al Sa'a: U.A.E. Supports Development and Stability of Arab Peoples

  • 17 March 2014

The Akhbar Al Sa'a (News of the Hour) Bulletin has re-affirmed that the U.A.E., under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stands by the interests of the Arab peoples in development, security, stability and progress, and this the main engine of its Arabic policy since the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Under the title: "Emirati Constant Support to the Development of Arab Peoples and their Stability", the bulletin said that in this context the meaningful words of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, came to emphasise that "the U.A.E.'s President, Government, and people stand by the brotherly Tunisian people to help them to get out of the tunnel of security, living and social instability," when he received Mehdi Jomaa, Tunisia's Prime Minister, on Saturday.

The bulletin, issued by the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research, ECSSR, highlighted that the Emirati's consistent and principled stand in supporting Arab states to help them to get out of their crises, which the forces of extremism and intolerance worked to support, are highly regarded by the Arab peoples that retain in their minds a bright image for the U.A.E. and its wise leadership, as it is always a symbol of assistance, especially in times of crisis and disasters.

In conclusion, the bulletin affirmed that the U.A.E. opens its heart and mind for all Arab people in a framework of mutual respect and concern for common interests and non-interference in the internal affairs, because these are the principles in which it believes now and since its inception, and at the same time it expects respect from others because this is the only way to build Arab relations which are stable and positive and serve the interests of peoples, forming a strong front in the face of terrorism and the powers that stand behind it, seeking to threaten the security, peace and development of Arab and Islamic societies and change their identity and culture.
