Akhbar Al Sa'a: U.A.E. is Keen to Strengthen Partnership With Germany

The Akhbar Al Sa'a (News of the Hour) Bulletin today affirms that the U.A.E., under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen to deepen its relations with regional and international forces and strengthen partnerships with them in all fields to benefit from their successful experience in development, as well as to support the national economy.

Under the title, "U.A.E. is keen to strengthen partnership with Germany", the bulletin said that the visit of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, to the Federal Republic of Germany recently has emphasised that Germany is important, not only as a European country, but also as an international player which has important presence and influence on the issues of the Middle East and Arabian Gulf region, as Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed explained.

The bulletin, issued by the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research, ECSSR, pointed out the historical relations between the U.A.E. and Germany, when His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his confidence that the coming period will see positive steps in the relationship between the two countries in light of the ties of understanding and mutual respect between their leaderships as well as in light of the huge potentials for furthering their bilateral cooperation in all spheres.

The bulletin concluded that the Federal Republic of Germany is keenly interested in enhancing areas of cooperation with U.A.E. and looks forward to more successful and efficient partnership projects, as Chancellor Angela Merkel affirmed and noted that her country's bilateral relations with the U.A.E. will be seeing more opportunities for growth given the huge potentials the two countries have.
