The Akhbar Al Sa'a (News of the Hour) Bulletin affirmed the U.A.E.'s keenness to support its brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council of the Arab States (GCC) in keeping security, stability and confronting the supporters of chaos, terrorism and sabotage.

Under the title: "Important meanings in the statements of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed", the bulletin said that: "The words of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, during his visit to the residence of the martyr First Lieutenant Tariq Mohammed Al Shehhi to offer condolences to his family, expressed many noble meanings, whether in terms of our wise leadership's appreciation of the son of the nation, who presented his soul in defence of the right against the misguided and wrong, or on the side of established principles that the U.A.E. stands by under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the collective security of the Gulf and the common challenges faced by the people of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States (GCC).

The bulletin, issued by the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research, ECSSR, added that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed said, "Tariq is in our hearts, and we are one family, from Al Sila'a to Al Sha'am, and we have one wound and one pain, and this is what has characterised the U.A.E. since its inception as one family and one soul and one goal, that was planted by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

In conclusion, the bulletin called for uniting in the face of terrorism, noting that the developmental gains that have been achieved for the GCC's people over the past years did not come from a vacuum but of great effort and hard work; thus, defending them against attempts to undermine and sabotage them is to protect the present and the future and to preserve the right of present and future generations in development, security and stability, away from strife-driven by that agendas do not want good and welfare for the region or its people.
