After opening the 25th session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) on Thursday, Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan made a tour of the massive halls, featuring stands by different UAE and international publishing houses.

Sheikh Abdullah stopped at the stand of the Emirates centre for Strategic Studies and Research where he was presented with a copy of its latest title ‘Al Sarab’ (The Mirage), authored by the Centre's Director General Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi. The book depicts how religious and political groups misuse Islam to sell lies and illusions to the masses in Arab and Islamic countries.

Sheikh Abdullah also visited the stand of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage centre which displays publications about UAE traditions.

The highlight of the Centre's participation is a book entitled 'Social values of Emirati dictum', co-authored by Abdullah Amara, Afra Al Basti and Latifa Obaid.

ADIBF is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and is organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, (TCA Abu Dhabi).
